Indonesia

LOCATION NOTES

The pulse of Indonesia pulled me in immediately and inspired me in a way few places have. I quickly felt like I was doing more than simply observing from the outside. What stayed with me were the details: the hectic streets, the daily rituals, and the lingering smell of open fire and gasoline in the air.

Photographing Indonesia feels almost overwhelming. You can’t walk five meters without something catching your attention — a face, a texture, a scene that appeared for just a moment before changing again. There is always something happening, and one image seems to lead straight to the next.
